Jayme Pronger is a 2005 honors Aveda Institute Esthiology Science program graduate. Post graduate training allows Jayme to uphold the highest standard of care for her patients. She annually attends continuing education courses through the International Dermal Institute, Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, Faces Etc. of Minnesota; including training on product lines, chemical peeling agents and pulse light therapy. Through her extensive training, Jayme can confidently and effectively analyze skin and treat: acne, rosacea, sun damage, melasma, vascular damage, wrinkles, and dehydrated aging skin. She is trained in skin preparation for pre and post operative facial cosmetic surgery patients to ensure they achieve the optimal result. BioMedic MicroPeel

A Patient Favorite!  The MicroPeel is a 20-30 minute exfoliating procedure with no recovery time.  By first removing dead cellular layers by a technique called Dermaplaning, a customized solution of glycolic, lactic or salicylic acid may be applied.  A change in skin texture can be seen and felt immediately.  A series of treatments may be recommended to even skin tone, texture, reduce breakouts, and return your skin's healthy glow. Depending on your individual skin care plan, regular MicroPeels may be prescribed to keep your skin looking its best.

Biomedic MicroPeel Plus 

The MicroPeel Plus utilizes a bacteria destroying 30% salicylic acid to effectively combat acne/oily skin.  This peel reduces breakouts by loosening the congested oil in the pores, killing bacteria, and reducing the inflammation within the breakout.  A light to moderate peeling or flaking may be experienced 1-3 days following this peel.  Your esthetician will customize your acne treatment plan and may include 2-4 of the MicroPeel Plus Peels.

Illuminize Peel

This non-invasive peel utilizes a novel approach to chemical peeling with a new generation of acids. You will notice instant enhancement of skin appearance, such as freshening, tightening and brightening of the skin clarity with minimal discomfort with little or no peeling.  Excellent prior to special events!
 
Vitalize Peel
This medium depth chemical peel brings the benefits of a unique blend of intense peeling agents that include 0.3% Retinoic acid.  Encouraging rapid turnover in skin cells, this procedure is especially beneficial for those with sundamaged, aging, blemish-prone, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, melasma and general poor skin quality.

Rejuvenize Peel

This peel is the deepest of the SkinMedica Peels, penetrating into the epidermis to produce significant results with minimal irritation. Appropriate for moderate to severe skin conditions including sun-damage, fine lines and wrinkles, acne, acne scarring and melasma.

Medical Microdermabrasion

Using state-of-the-art Microdermabrasion equipment, that is only available in physician's offices, we are able to improve the texture and tone of your skin with particle resurfacing. Microdermabrasion uses a jet of sterile microcrystals to gently exfoliate the skin.  In addition to precise surface exfoliation, microdermabrasion promotes the production of new cells in the deeper layers of the skin, cleans pores and stimulates collagen production that can further improve skin texture.  Microdermabrasion can be successfully used on light or dark skin and treat the face, neck, chest, arms, elbows, knees and hands. This treatment includes a dermaplaning treatment prior to each Microdermabrasion session. Advanced Microdermabrasion can intensify your Medical Microdermabrasion procedure by adding the benefits of a customized light chemical peel.

Permanent Hair Reduction

Using the latest FDA approved Intense Pulsed Light technology; we are able to safely and effectively remove unwanted hair for both women and men. 

Permanent Hair Reduction works by selectively concentrating light energy in the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unchanged.  This comfortable procedure can be performed in as little as 15 to 30 minutes, depending on area, and allows you to return to most regular activities immediately following.  Treatments can be performed on nearly any area of the face or body, nearly any skin color, and are effective on all but the blondest colors of hair.

Photo Facial

The IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photofacial is a non-surgical treatment that improves the skin tone and texture of the skin.  The IPL is much like a laser but produces a broad spectrum of light instead of only one wavelength.  IPL energy includes all of the light wavelengths that are optimal for removing a variety of discolored skin lesions (brown spots, age spots, freckling).  The IPL also stimulates collagen production to smooth skin and reduce pore size.  In addition to the face, the neck, arms, legs and upper chest areas can also be treated.

IPL PhotoFacial treatments are gentle, with minimal discomfort.  There is no “downtime’ after treatment, only temporary redness that fades within hours.  Patients receiving PhotoFacial treatments do not need to take any time off from their usual activities.  Improvement of age spots and dilated blood vessels can be seen after only one treatment, and skin texture progressively improves with additional treatments.  PhotoFacials are one of the most effective treatments for facial redness due to rosacea.  Your skin care specialist may recommend a series of 3 or 5 treatments scheduled 2 to 3 weeks apart.
